Our mildly stiffened sinamay is ideal for blocking or freeform hat making. This is versatile and kind to your hands. Mist lightly with water or steam to shape the sinamay will stiffen upon cooling. Sinamay stiffener can be applied should a firmer finish be required. To form rouleau, swirls or bindings, simply cut on the bias, fold in and iron. Self made bindings will always match identically.

Priced in half metre lengths x 92cm /36” wide. Multiple 0.5m orders will be sent as one continuous piece. Colours in our budget sinamay range may vary ever so slightly from our standard range of sinamay products.

Sinamay fabric is woven from natural fibres and there may be slight inconsistencies in the weave. This is an integral part of its beauty.
