Set of 2 large stainless steel flower irons. This combination of a 35mm and 50mm flower iron will make blooms of 12 " plus. They are stainless steel so will not rust and will last a lifetime. They have wooden handles and are a nice weight for easy petal forming

Cut your petals out of stiffened silk or cotton in batches

Place a piece of calico over a piece of thick sponge and place two petals on top

Heat up your flower iron on a hot plate or gas ring

Press down with the flower iron in the center of the petals to form a cup shape

This is also suitable for leather work.
