Vintage 1950's Italian Raffia Straw Milliner's Cone 

This vintage straw hat cone body is just divine!  Hand woven in Italy in the 1950's, it is made from a shiny woven raffia straw. Perfect for making vintage style small hats. This woven raffia hat cone was a much loved material by Mr John. His wonderful raffia masterpieces were worn by Princess Grace during her visit to Ireland. Real millinery history.

This cone has a slight discoloration at the bottom edge but is otherwise in great condition.
Cone measures around 10"/ 24cm in height and a generous 15"/ 37cm in width
